Stake Presidency Hurricane Message October 8, 2024

Sisters and Brothers,

As you know we have been asked to be a part of the relief efforts again this weekend.  It is very important that the team captains register their teams and attend the captains meeting on Wed night.

We will be at a different location with new information about our assignment.

Please invite, invite, invite those who didn't go last weekend to go this weekend.  The more we can spread out the opportunity of service the greater the blessing to our stake.  We recognize the sacrifice being made to go and are very grateful.  Those who were there last week made a difference to the people they ministered to.

There were over 6,000 church members from 50 stakes and 400 congregations giving service.  It was an army of service.  We hope to have that same number this weekend.

NOTE: Please don't bring supplies to donate at the command center.  They are not equipped to handle those types of donations.  If you want to donate to the houses you work on that is up to you, but bringing supplies for the command center to donate presents challenges they are not equipped to deal with.
